It’s her own design…My goodness, that looks like something she needs to write into a pattern! Wonderful!

  1. Oh that is cute! Too small for by big boobies though. lol I’ll have to write my own patterns for these babies!

  2. LOL… on hobbyzu’s comment!

This is really really really pretty. All I want to know is how to get the holes in the shells? I’ve tried this with a bag. They just won’t stay!

  3. thanks, hobbyzu & kellycat!

kellycat, you just need to get some cowrie shells that have the backs sawed off flat, they are sold this way by several suppliers on the web. Whole shells will not work too well.
Check with bead & jewelry making supply stores, online or locally.

  4. Wow! This is so beautiful!! I love the idea of using the shells as a decorative edging. 🙂

  5. Is there a pattern for this? I really want to try this but am a novice-level crocheter…

    Hi Brit,

As far as I know there is not. But, if you go to Ravelry you can ask the Sriyana how she did it 🙂 has some really cute belly dancing patterns on her site too 🙂
