2010 Crochet Awards: The Flamies

Hey there hook lovers!

Just a friendly reminder that the nominations for the best in crochet of 2009 will close tomorrow evening (Feb 3, 2010) at 11:59pm (PST). If you have a favorite designer, yarn company, hook maker, store, activist, pattern, or what ever else we have a category for, please please please make your nominations here!

I will be getting the voting up in the next few weeks, just like last year! And speaking of just like last year, Mary Beth Temple of Getting Loopy is going to be our hostess with the mostest! The Flamies will air on Getting Loopy on April 19, 2010 (in honor of my Aunt Gloria, who used to make me all kinds of beautiful crocheted doll clothes, it’s her birthday). Getting Loopy airs every monday at 9pm Eastern, 6pm Pacific.

Stay tuned to the blog here for more Flamie information, I will be making a blog page for it to make life a little easier for us all. That way I don’t have to reinvent the wheel each year, and you don’t have to search this crazy blog for entries!

And another quick reminder there is still room on the Flaming Hooks Team for the Ravelympics, the games begin in just a few more days! Let’s show ’em what crochet can do!
